The Research and Communication Unit provides essential support to the working of the Office of the Ombudsman. These essential supports are particularly in the areas of general planning and coordination, general oversight, operation, advocacy, information management and research support.
Outside of the Office, the Unit is responsible for the Office’s public relations including media relations, awareness programs, workshops (and consultations) and public talks. The publication of public awareness materials such as pamphlets, booklets and media releases also fall under the purview of the Unit.
The Unit is headed by the Director of Research and Communication.
